There’s never been a better time to get the recognition you may richly and rightly deserve, as planning is now already well underway for what will be the third annual Sustainable Ireland awards ceremony, being held in association with the Environment & Heritage Service.

Following on the tremendous success of last year’s event when innovation and enterprise shone through from all sectors of this diverse industry, the 2008 event is scheduled to take place on September 18th.
That means you only have a matter of months to prepare your entry; remember, you cannot win if you are not in, and it is so, so simple to enter.

Winners from the 2008 event have benefited in a variety of ways from their success, not least in raising their business profile, and you can, too, by following in their footsteps this year.

The event is all about promoting what is good and great about the diverse sectors that encompass waste management, recycling, renewable energies and the environment in general.

So, what do you do now? At this stage, all we are looking for is the name of your company, a key contact name within your organisation, address, telephone/fax/email details – and just a couple of sentences on why you think your company, product, service or individual is deserving of recognition. It is that simple!
You can post in your entry, or email it direct – but you need to do it NOW!

All entries will then be shortlisted into a Top Ten in each category, and once that process is completed you will then be asked to provide additional information, after which an independent panel of judges, all experts in their various fields, will then consider the short listed entries – and who knows, it could be YOU!
